The Montgomery Mall (7101 Democracy Blvd) food court has been without a familiar favorite the last few weeks as Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen has gone dark.
Google Business lists the restaurant as “permanently closed,” but we’re told there’s a possibility it could reopen under new ownership.
The Montgomery Mall food court will soon gain a few new options with the arrivals of Kelly’s Cajun Grill and Pollo Campero.
Popeyes has additional Montgomery County locations in Gaithersburg, Germantown, Olney, Rockville, Silver Spring, and Wheaton.
