Montgomery Parks will host one of the largest sustainable landscape conferences in the nation this February with over 1,000 participants from 24 states and the District of Columbia.
The GreenScapes Symposium is a daylong series of live online lectures offering industry professionals, Master Gardeners, and homeowners the opportunity to learn about sustainable landscape design in public and private gardens. Participants will benefit from interactive question-and-answer forums during presentations and all lectures will be recorded and available for online viewing. Professionals can take advantage of Continuing Education Units (CEUs) from 11 organizations.

The theme of GreenScapes 2024 is Innovative Designs from the Field. Industry experts will share practical lessons on how to move from theory to implementation of sustainable design and gardening practices. Speakers will explore the latest research from the University of Delaware, including case studies from award-winning public gardens and museums. Participants will be inspired to reimagine traditional landscapes with native plants.
