For the second consecutive year, the Microbits Masters program has united high school computer science students to impart coding and robotics knowledge to younger learners (video below):
Springbrook High School students recently visited Burnt Mills Elementary, introducing coding to enthusiastic fifth graders. The program, initiated through a partnership with Boolean Girls and supported by a grant from GEICO, involves older students designing and delivering lessons to elementary school students.
Reflecting on the experience, high school student Oliver expressed the importance of contributing to the education of the next generation in coding. Currently, the program is available at Springbrook and Paint Branch High Schools.
