Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Yelp has released its list of “Top 100 Romantic Restaurants for 2024” and one local restaurant has been included- Rockville’s very own Gyuzo BBQ, which is ranked 67th on the nationwide list.
Gyuzo BBQ opened at 33 Maryland Ave in late 2020, taking over part of the old Mellow Mushroom location, next to Kyoto Matcha. Gyuzo offers meat that’s grilled at your table, with a focus on imported beef and other ingredients. The menu also includes unique appetizers, sushi, rice, and noodles.
Japanese Wagyu beef is a staple of Gyuzo’s offerings and is characterized by the original taste of meat and the sweetness of the marbling fat content. Their popular “Wagyu Stairway to Heaven” offers US Wagyu Beef Tongue, US Wagyu Rib Finger, US Wagyu Chuck Flap, Japanese A5, Wagyu Short Rib, Japanese A5 Wagyu Prime Rib, Japanese A5 Wagyu Tenderloin, Japanese A5 Wagyu Striploin, and Uni.
