Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to a call for a crash involving a vehicle and motorcycle at approximately 3pm on Snouffer School Rd. and Centerway Rd. in Gaithersburg on Thursday afternoon.
According to MCFRS Chief Spokesperson Pete Piringer, the motorcycle involved in the crash caught fire. Two adults were transported to the hospital- the driver of the vehicle with minor injuries and the motorcyclist with priority 1 life-threatening injuries.
The intersection of Snouffer School Rd. and Centerway Rd. is closed. Per Montgomery County Police, drivers are advised to seek an alternate route. Expect significant delays.
