Board of Education Appoints Six New Elementary School Principals


The Montgomery County Board of Education approved six elementary school principal appointments on Thursday, March 7. One principal comes from outside of the school system, four principals are acting principals at the schools they were appointed to, and one principal is moving from one MCPS elementary school to another. The appointments can be seen below:

  • Kilsys Batista, Rock View Elementary School (currently the principal at Twin Lakes Elementary School in Tampa, FL)
  • Iraida A. Bodre-Woods, East Silver Spring Elementary School (currently acting principal at the school)
  • Lavina N. Carrillo, Rock Creek Forest Elementary School (currently acting principal at the school)
  • Nadia J. Kline-Taylor, Potomac Elementary School (currently acting principal at the school)
  • Pamela R. Parker, Montgomery Knolls Elementary School (currently acting principal at the school)
  • Stacey F. Rogovoy, North Chevy Chase Elementary School (currently principal at College Gardens Elementary School)
