Spicknall’s Farm Market, located at 12011 Old Gunpowder Rd. in Beltsville/Calverton, has made the decision to not open this upcoming season.

Located just outside of Montgomery County, the market has been a popular destination for many in the East County portion of MoCo, and beyond, for many decades. In a post shared via the market’s Facebook page, they wrote the following:

It is with a heavy heart we share this news with the community. We will not be opening the Market this year. The decision was extremely hard and emotional, but we feel it is best for us.

We ask that you please respect the family and staff with kindness and patience. We also want to thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts for your many years of patronage. We are so grateful for the many decades we were able to serve this community.
With all our love – thank you!
