The magical world of Oz arrives in Gaithersburg in the form of an outdoor escape room-style experience, entirely based on the original The Wonderful Wizard of Oz novel by L. Frank Baum.
Each event starts at a specific location that is only revealed 1-2 weeks before the event, via e-mail. Participants will be following a trail taking you to all of the different locations included in the game. The games “generally take place in easily accessible parts of the city. And we try to pick the most appealing and safe area of a city, as much as possible.”
You will use your phone to follow hidden clues, solve witty puzzles and complete fun challenges as you walk around Gaithersburg. “Participants will follow the story of the iconic team of misfits trying to escape from Oz before the witch has her way! The event is entirely based on the original The Wonderful Wizard of Oz novel by L. Frank Baum.”
You can play at your own pace or against the clock to compete with friends or hundreds of other teams parading their fantastic costumes (wearing costumes is optional at the event). DETAILS:

start anytime between 10 AM – 4 PM, the experience lasts approx. 90 minutes
