Montgomery County Police responded to shots fired on Sunday night in White Oak.
According to police, “On Sunday, April 14, 2024, at approximately 9:13 p.m., officers from the 3rd District were in the area of Lockwood Drive when they heard the sound of shots.
Officers then observed a vehicle driving from the area where the shots were heard. A juvenile suspect jumped from the moving vehicle and dropped a firearm. The suspect was apprehended and taken into custody. The firearm was recovered. The driver of the vehicle was identified and located. He was taken into custody and charged accordingly.
No injuries have been reported. This is an ongoing investigation.”
