Tiki Bar & Grill Overlooking the Lake is Coming Soon to Gaithersburg

“Just in time for summer, your newest tropical escape awaits!” The Gaithersburg Marriott Washingtonian Center has announced the upcoming opening of its newest concept, Tiki Bar and Grill. It is expected to open this May (full food and drink menu below).

“For tiki connoisseurs, take a seat at a table on our patio and watch the show as our skilled mixologists
shake up classic tiki cocktails.” The bar menu will feature favorites including the Mai Tai, the Blue Hawaiian, and Zombie- all made with freshly pressed juices and premium spirits.

The menu, designed by Head Chef Bea Legaspi, features grilled dishes inspired by the flavors of Polynesia and feature locally sourced ingredients, infused with tropical flavors. Guests can indulge in our signature mahi-mahi fish tacos, fire-grilled chicken wings or a classic Hawaiian burger, topped with grilled pineapple and chef’s signature teriyaki sauce.

Open Tuesday – Thursday from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, the Tiki Bar and Grill will feature a 19ft tall mural,
designed to transport guests to the South Seas the moment they step into the bar and take in the serene
views, overlooking the lake. “The vantage point offers the ideal backdrop for gathering with friends and
family to people watch or enjoy a night under the stars.” With seating for 70, Tiki Bar and Grill will also be available for private events and signature celebrations and can be combined with the ballroom, located adjacent to the bar.
