
Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to a collision that involved two vehicles and one pedestrian struck on I-270 Saturday night. MCFRS Chief Spokesperson Pete Piringer has stated that the pedestrian struck “seems to be a driver who ran from the crash scene and was struck”
The collision occurred on southbound and northbound I-270 between Montrose Road and Route 28. It involved two vehicles, including one that overturned. In an update provided at 11:51pm Saturday night, Piringer stated that two patients were transported with non life threatening injuries and one patient with a traumatic life threatening injury “seems to be a driver who ran from the crash scene.”
