Wootton High School to Host Acappella Showcase


Wootton High School is hosting an Acappella Showcase featuring seven acappella groups from five different schools. The event will take place on May 13th from 6 pm-8 pm at Wootton High School in Rockville.

Six groups will be performing from five different schools across the county. The Acatonics will be representing Wootton High School. From Churchill, the all-male group Pitch Pipes and all-female group Sirens, from Richard Montgomery, the co-Ed group Resonance, from Walt Whitman, the all-female group Pitch Please, and from Walter Johnson, the co-Ed group Red Velvet, the all male group Chocolate, and the all female group Vanilla.

Tickets will be sold at the door of Wootton’s auditorium- $5 for Students and $10 for Adults. The Wootton Acatonics tell us they planned this event in hopes of showcasing all the hard work by the various Acappella groups across the county.
