Locally Crafted will reopen at its new location (9 Grand Corner Ave.) in Gaithersburg’s Rio Lakefront on Wednesday, May 1st. The store closed its previous storefront on December 24th, 2023. The new location has taken over the space that was recently home to Francesca’s.

Francesca’s closed permanently on February 3rd. A new restaurant, Mason’s Famous Lobster Rolls, will be taking over the space at 201 Boardwalk Place that was recently home to Locally Crafted and previously home Joseph A. Bank.

About Locally Crafted: “Locally Crafted is a community space where artists can showcase their unique products.  Customers will experience seeing the items in person, rather than through an online store, giving them the opportunity to feel and see the quality in person.  Locally Crafted appeals to customers who value unique items and prefer supporting makers from their own community over national corporate big chain stores. As a female owned small business we are invested in helping to support other small businesses. By carrying only locally made products, we are creating a bridge between local makers and interested customers, enhancing the unique character of our community and helping the local economy by supporting small businesses in the neighborhood.”
