Mercedes, a 4-year-old Herman Shepherd from Bethesda, was later named ‘Reserve Best in Show’ – losing out to Sage, a miniature poodle. “Mercedes is just a gorgeous German Shepherd. She has the perfect pose, and her prancing around the rink was flawless.” wrote on Twitter user. Another wrote “Congrats to Sage & her handler (Although I wanted Mercedes, the GSD to win).”
According to mymcmedia, “Mercedes is handled by Kent Boyles and co-owned by Cynthia Wilhelmy and Sheree Moses according to the American Kennel Club. Mercedes won Reserve Best in Show at the 2023 American Kennel Club National Championship in Orlando.”
