Costa Grande Restaurant at 15883 Redland Rd in Derwood will hold its grand opening on Friday, May 17, at 3pm. The restaurant is located in the space previously occupied by Juanita’s Restaurant in Redland Center.
The family-owned Mexican restaurant we will offer tacos, menudo, pozole sopes, and more.
We’re told the owners of Costa Grande have been serving tacos to friends and relatives in Gaithersburg for the past 25 years and have always dreamt of owning a restaurant. The restaurant’s name and its owners have roots in the coastal region of Guerrero, Mexico, which is divided into two distinct areas: Costa Grande and Costa Chica.
Costa Grande’s hours of operation are Monday-Friday 10am-10pm, Saturday 9am-10pm, and Sunday 8am-9pm.
