Weekly Crime Report: City of Rockville

The Rockville City Police Department released the following crime report for the period of May 21, 2024 – May 27, 2024:

Custodial Arrests:

  • On 5/20/2024, a male, age 42, was arrested for assault and malicious destruction of property in the 1000 Blk. Rockville Pike.
  • On 5/21/2024, a male, age 36, was arrested for indecent exposure in the 2100 Blk. Veirs Mill Road.
  • On 5/23/2024, a male, age 28, was arrested for theft and two outstanding warrants in the 800 Blk. Rockville Pike.
  • On 5/24/2024, a male, age 34, was arrested for malicious destruction of property and violation of a protective order in the 700 Blk. Monroe Street.
  • On 5/27/2024, a male, age 40, was arrested for two counts of rogue and vagabond in the 600 Blk. Crocus Drive.

Incidents:

  • In the 1600 Blk. E Jefferson Street, two unknown black males, were observed breaking into vehicles at 4:00 a.m. on 5/21/2024.
  • In the 1700 Blk. Rockville Pike, an unknown suspect(s) vandalized a vehicle in the parking lot of a hotel between 5/14/2024 and 5/21/2024.
  • In the 200 Blk. N. Washington Street, an unknown suspect(s) stole a cellular phone from a vehicle on 5/21/2024 at 3:52 p.m.
  • In the 1500 Blk. Rockville Pike, an unknown suspect stole diapers from a business on 5/22/2024 at 4:20 p.m.
    Black Male – Blue jeans, black shirt, hat, and shoes.
  • In the 800 Blk. Baltimore Road, three unknown masked suspects robbed a business, fleeing with merchandise and an undisclosed amount of currency on 5/23/2024 at 3:46 p.m.
  • In the 1700 Blk. Rockville Pike, two black male suspects wearing dark clothing and masks, stole merchandise and an undisclosed amount of currency from a business, fleeing in a black sedan on 5/24/2024 at 2:07 p.m.
  • In the 1600 Blk. Rockville Pike, three suspects stole merchandise from a business on 5/23/2024 at 5:44 p.m.
    White female/30s or 40s wearing a long black skirt and a light-colored top.
    Teenage white female/15 to 16 YOA with dark hair, wearing a long black skirt, and pink wrap blouse.
    White male/ 10 to 12 YOA, wearing khaki shorts and a black and white t-shirt.
  • In the 700 Blk. Rockville Pike, two suspects stole merchandise and an undisclosed amount of currency from a business, fleeing in a white or gray vehicle on 5/25/2024 at 7:00 p.m.

    Black male, wearing black pants, a white t-shirt, white shoes, possibly a bandana, with dreadlocks.
