Updated to include new opening date following the soft opening
Back in October we let you know that Moby Dick House of Kabob signed on to join the redeveloped Burtonsville Crossing shopping center (15783 Old Columbia Pike). The restaurant has announced that it will have a soft opening on Friday, June 7th and then open on Wednesday, June 12th with a special discount for walk-in customers that runs until June 16th.
This will be the Persian kabob restaurant chain’s 27th restaurant overall and 8th in Montgomery County, where it all started in 1989 with its Bethesda location. Moby Dick’s 7th MoCo location is coming soon to North Bethesda. The restaurant offers “authentic Persian food with a Mediterranean flair.”
In an email to customers on Thursday, Moby Dick wrote: “We’re excited to announce Moby Dick is opening tomorrow, June 7th, in Burtonsville to serve up authentic Persian kabobs! Come savor the unique flavors of Persian cuisine. Our menu features a variety of mouthwatering grilled meats, marinated to perfection and bursting with flavor.
To celebrate our arrival, we’re offering a 20% discount on your entire bill from Friday, June 7th to Sunday, June 16th! This offer is valid for walk-in customers only (online orders excluded for now).”
