Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to the 3229blk of Medway St, near Claridge Rd in Wheaton-Glenmont for a reported house fire at approximately 12:45am on Friday, July 5.
According to Chief Spokesperson for MCFRS Pete Piringer, the fire was located on the exterior of the home and was caused by discarded fireworks. The fire did not extend to the interior of the home and there were no injuries reported.
