Sense of Thai, which opened its first location in Ashburn, VA in 2015, and is opening a second location soon in Chantilly, VA, has announced plans to open a new restaurant at Westbard Square in Bethesda, according to a report by The Burn.
Sense of Thai offers authentic Southern Thai cuisine, and its locations feature “chic decor, upscale casual dining and craft cocktails.” Menu items include Peking Duck Quesadilla, Pad Thai, Crispy Whole Fish, Chili-Garlic Pig (pork belly), and Braised Pork Ramen.
According to its website, “At Sense of Thai, our dishes are inspired by the bold and spicy flavors of Southern Thailand, where our Chef Owner Porntipa Pattanamekar is from. Known for its vibrant fusion of Eastern and Western influences, Southern Thai cuisine features unique ingredients like fresh seafood, aromatic herbs, and robust spices.”
The restaurant is anticipating a Spring 2025 opening. We will provide an update if additional information becomes available.
