Back in March 2023, we reported that Umi Hot Pot, Sushi & Seafood Buffet would be taking over the space that was recently home to Miller’s Ale House and previously home to Hooters and Shakey’s at 1471 Rockville Pike in Rockville. Umi has shared on social media that it will be opening today– Friday, August 9th.
We gave the restaurant a call early this afternoon due to conflicting dates on the social media announcement (it has August 9th and August 10th listed) and a representative confirmed that the restaurant opens today (Friday, August 9th) at 4pm.
