Do You Think Gaithersburg Has a Need For a Multigenerational Recreational Facility? The City is Seeking Feedback Through a Survey

The City of Gaithersburg has initiated a Multigenerational Recreational Facility Feasibility Study to assess the need for a new facility that meets the diverse requirements of its community. This feasibility study will evaluate existing recreational programs, identify gaps, and recommend improvements, including potential upgrades to current facilities, the addition of new program spaces, and enhancements to overall operations.

Per the City of Gaithersburg: Survey feedback will help shape a strategic road map for future development over the next decade. The City has many opportunities to build and improve its future. Take a moment and provide your feedback through a variety of interactive engagement features that include taking brief poll, adding your thoughts to an ideas board, sharing your indoor space needs, and highlighting your current facility use barriers. These engagement opportunities can be found here.

In-person opportunities are also available, including a public meeting and focus group. The public meeting is an open house format, where participants can share their recreation facility preferences; the focus group is a small-group moderated question and answer session. Focus group size is limited to the first 12 registrants.
