They’ll be taking over the old Payless location at 13653 Connecticut Ave, next to Jerry’s and will specialize in Peruvian chicken.
Their grand opening will be on Monday, July 8th.
A “large employer” is an employer who employs 51 or more employees;
A “mid-sized employer” is:
• an employer who employs between eleven and 50 employees; or
• an employer who employs eleven or more employees and:
– has tax exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code; or
– provides “home health services” as defined by 42 C.F.R. § 440.70 or “home or community-based services” as defined by 42 C.F.R. § 440.180, and receives at least 75% of gross revenues through state and federal Medicaid programs.
A “small employer” is an employer who employs 10 or fewer employees.
It looks as though CVS will be taking over the old Tommy Joe’s/O’Donnell’s location in the Kentlands (311 Kentlands Blvd).
We spoke with Gaithersburg Councilmember Neil Harris, who told us he heard rumblings of the pharmacy chain’s potential arrival a couple months back. With some light construction having begun inside the building, it looks as if some major changes are coming to the building soon.
Planet Fitness was founded in 1992 and uses a non-intimidating, low-cost model to cater to what their executives believe is a much larger segment of the population.
Though giving away bagels and pizza may seem counterintuitive, Planet Fitness only gives away bagels on the second Tuesday of each month and pizza on the first Monday of each month.
The cafe offers more than just smoothies as the menu contains flatbreads, wraps, quesadillas, sandwiches, bowls, breakfast, and a lot more.
Chi-Chi’s also had a Rockville location in Wintergreen Plaza that later became Broadway/Ted’s 355 Diner and is currently Habit Burger and Jersey Mike’s.
They left town nearly two decades ago, but Lakeforest never replaced the restaurant (located across from the old Lakeforest Silver Diner). The vacant location was closed off, but recently the window covers were removed.
