Update by MCPD: Jalie Marah Moreno has been located safe and unharmed
Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Special Victims Investigations Division (SVID) are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Jalie Marah Moreno, a missing 13-year-old from Gaithersburg.
Montgomery County has announced that The National Capital Region Transportation Planning Board (TPB) has approved funding for multiple safety improvement planning projects, including the Randolph Road Safety Improvement Project. (more…)

BillStock, a family-friendly music festival featuring over 50 musicians, most of whom are Sherwood High School alumni who performed in school’s “Rock ‘n’ Roll Revival,” takes place June 8 at Davis Airport (7200 Hawkins Creamery Rd) in Laytonsville. The event is hosten by the Sherwood Community Chamber Choir and proceeds will benefit the Olney Community Youth Choirs, which serve students in grades 4-8 regardless of school affiliation.
