ESPN’s Scott Van Pelt, a MoCo native who graduated from Sherwood High School, announced Monday that he’d miss the evening’s edition of SportsCenter after dealing with a “bit of a medical scare.”
Van Pelt said he suffered a supraventricular tachycardia (SVT), a rapid heartbeat that develops when the normal electrical impulses of the heart are disrupted.
“Opening Soon” signage is up on the windows of Chicken Basket at 30 N. Summit Ave. in Gaithersburg. A building fire closed the restaurant back in April 2019.
In March 2020, Chicken Basket at 4007 Norbeck Rd also closed due to a building fire.

In addition, we have seen an increase in reports of Child Abuse in recent months and we know social isolation is one of the greatest risk factors for Elder Abuse.

Montgomery County Public Schools sent out the following community message on Monday alerting patents and students that the deadline to submit comments on proposed changes to the student discipline policy are due by February 7.
