NYC’s beloved French Bakery & Café, maman, has announced its expansion to the Washington, DC region with three new locations opening this year. Its first location will be in Bethesda Row at 7140 Bethesda Ln , replacing Le Pain Quotidien.
Per Bethesda Row:
The Provençal-inspired café, created by co-founders Elisa Marshall and Benjamin Sormonte, will bring its fan-favorite salads, sandwiches, and Nutty Chocolate Chip Cookies, made famous by Oprah, to the Bethesda Row neighborhood later this spring/summer. In true maman fashion, the decor will boast florals and feature vintage windows and antique furniture, inspired by the South of France.
Celebrating 25 years in 2019, Bethesda Row is home to more than 536,000 square feet of best in class restaurants and retail. The opening of maman is a part of an impressive list of openings and announcements that offer a compelling mix for residents and visitors to enjoy.
maman Bethesda Row will be followed by two additional maman DC openings — in Georgetown and at Union Market.
