Burtons Grill and Bar will open its first MoCo location in the Kentlands, moving in to the larger spot across the paseo from MOD Pizza.
The Massachusetts based chain extends down the east coast with over a dozen locations as far Boca Raton, Florida.
Burtons Grill and Bar opened its doors back in 2005 and offers “chef-driven, innovative local preparations, and traditional fare.” It was voted Most Allergy-Friendly Restaurant in 2019 by AllergyEats.
We don’t expect the restaurant to be ready to open until mid-2020 at the earliest, but if you want to try it out before it arrives there are nearby locations in Alexandria, Sterling, and Riverdale Park.

They will need to hire the Greg Harrison Jazz Trio in order to successfully compete with Vasilis Kitchen in Kentlands! The band draws a great crowd

This looks like a nice concept and has obviously been successful, but a big mistake is being made in the Kentlands by over populating with too many restaurants. There is a limit as to how many restaurants can be supported sufficiently to be profitable. Rockville Center is a great example of constant restaurant turnover and failure.
