Federal Realty and Bethesda Row have announced the addition of two nationally recognized lifestyle brands, with ALO and Johnnie-O both set to open this spring.
According to Federal Realty, the new openings continue Bethesda Row’s focus on delivering a curated mix of retail, dining, and services that enhance the neighborhood experience and reinforce the district’s position as a premier shopping destination in the Washington metro area.
Johnnie-O, a Southern California lifestyle brand for men, women, and boys, blends what it describes as East Coast preppy style with a relaxed West Coast sensibility. The brand offers a wide range of premium apparel, footwear, and accessories designed for everyday wear as well as active lifestyles.
Wellness lifestyle brand ALO will also join Bethesda Row, bringing its emphasis on mindful movement, community, and mind-body wellness both on and off the mat. Founded in Los Angeles in 2007, ALO is known for studio-to-street apparel that bridges performance and fashion, along with its broader focus on yoga, mindfulness, and wellness culture.
