Del Frisco’s Grille in Pike & Rose to Close on October 20th

by MCS Staff

Earlier this year, Del Frisco’s Restaurant Group agreed to be bought by private equity firm L Catterton for $267.3 million. Last month, Landry’s, Inc. signed a definitive agreement to acquire 100% of the Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steakhouses and the Del Frisco’s Grilles from L Catterton.

We aren’t sure of what will become of the current Del Frisco’s Grille in Pike & Rose, but we were told today that October 20th will be the last day it operates as Del Frisco’s before closing.

We will report and future plans for the location when we receive the news.

It’s pretty annoying for a place that is as wealthy and with as many people as MOCO, that it has a hard time attracting and keeping good restaurants. Seriously what gives? Arlington, DC, even Frederick have better restaurants than MOCO. The good ones also stick around too. I know that the rents are high but still.
