Detectives Continue to Investigate 2002 Disappearance of Ganignunt Aiemsakul; Ask Public for Information

For Immediate Release: Thursday, August 5, 2021

Gaithersburg, MD – Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department (MCP) –Missing Persons Unit continue to investigate the 2002 disappearance of Ganignunt “Felicia” Aiemsakul.  Aiemsakul was 19 years old when she was last seen by friends during the early morning hours of March 4, 2002, on Goodhurst Drive in the Laytonsville area.  Investigators recently received a tip regarding Aiemsakul’s disappearance and detectives now believe that she is deceased.

Friends of Aiemsakul have created a Facebook page in her memory titled “Justice for Felicia Voices for Forgotten Victims” and are asking anyone with information regarding her disappearance to contact them through the following Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/groups/2363949603737949

MCP detectives continue to urge anyone with information regarding Aiemsakul’s disappearance to call the Major Crimes Division at 240-773-5070. For those who wish to remain anonymous, tipsters can call Crime Solvers of Montgomery County toll-free at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477).
