Ensemble Digital Food Hall Opens This Wednesday in Bethesda
Ensemble, a digital food hall from the owners of Ted’s Bulletin, opens this Wednesday at 4856 Cordell Ave in Bethesda. Food from Ensemble is only available for pickup or delivery and you must order through their mobile app.
The menu features items from four different Salis Holdings restaurants that can be mixed and matched. You can get a brisket sandwich from Federalist Pig, side of french toast from Ted’s Bulletin, hot honey cauliflower from Honeymoon Chicken, and dessert from Sidekick Bakery all at the same spot.
This will also be the first place you’ll be able to try Honeymoon Chicken, as the standalone location won’t be open in DC until later this year.
The building, which looks small and unassuming, features a full kitchen in the back with some of the best chefs from each restaurant location.
To order from Ensemble you must first download their app. Once downloaded, you place and send your order. When the food is ready, Ensemble will send a notification to your phone that includes a barcode. Once inside, you scan the code which opens a locker containing your food.
The ordering process might seem complicated, but it took us less than a minute when we arrived to pick up food during their soft opening.
