Macondo Food Express is coming to 811 Russell Ave in Gaithersburg. The Colombian restaurant is taking the space of Perroloco (also Colombian), which closed in the spring of 2020.
According to the owner, the restaurant will sell Colombian fast food such as hot dogs, chorizo, and empanadas.
The restaurant plans to open by June 1, but could open sooner depending on when they receive final permitting.
