Germantown: Permanent Signage Up at Crumbl; Construction in Progress

by MCS Staff

Crumbl Cookies opened its first MoCo location about a year and a half ago at Federal Plaza in Rockville. In November we let you know that the bakery, known for its long box of cookies, would be opening a second location– near Wegmans at The Shops at Seneca Meadows shopping center in Germantown.

The shop will be located at 20650 Seneca Meadows Pkwy, in what used to be home to Sprint, next to Sally Beauty. Permanent signage is now up at the location and construction is ongoing inside, but there is plenty left to go. No expected opening date is available at the moment.

Below, you’ll see some photos of the current progress:

Crumbl Cookies is a nationwide bakery franchise that offers different freshly baked cookies each week.  They sell chocolate chip and sugar cookies every day, but the rest of their offerings rotate. Their flavors range from experimental (watermelon chilled sugar cookie), to cookie twists on classic desserts (peach cobbler cookie), to more traditional cookies (peanut butter brownie cookie, chocolate chip cookie, etc.).

A third MoCo location is in the works at the Kentlands neighborhood in Gaithersburg.

The sign at the Seneca Meadows shop has been up for MONTHS now, and still no opening. Do we have a date yet? What’s taking so long. At this rate, they’ll be renewing the lease before they get their first customer. Not a great start.
