The changes continue in the Kentlands…
It looks as though CVS will be taking over the old Tommy Joe’s/O’Donnell’s location in the Kentlands (311 Kentlands Blvd).
We spoke with Gaithersburg Councilmember Neil Harris, who told us he heard rumblings of the pharmacy chain’s potential arrival a couple months back. With some light construction having begun inside the building, it looks as if some major changes are coming to the building soon.
Additionally, we were told that the lights were out at JPII Colombian Breeze last week. We peeked inside and noticed that the restaurant appears to have moved out. Though we haven’t been able to get in contact with the owners, a “For Rent” sign is now up in the window.

Terrible idea to put a cvs in O’Donnell’s. We don’t need one there. They are on every corner it seems! We need a decent restaurant. Why can’t the city of Gaithersburg attract a quality restaurant like other communities do. I give this idea a failing grade.
