Below are the latest updates on five restaurants coming soon to Wheaton Mall.
Hook & Reel could be opening as early as this December, according to a representative from Westfield Wheaton. They are currently working on the exterior of the building.
The restaurant is taking over two vacant storefronts between Party City and the old Bar Louie.
Hook & Reel recently had its beer, wine, and liquor license hearing on Thursday, October 7th.
Sydney’s Burger on the upper level of Wheaton Mall has announced they will be holding their grand opening on October 29.
The menu features hamburgers, turkey burgers, salmon burgers, wings, breakfast items, and quesadillas.
Suki Hana will be taking over the space previously occupied by Sarku Japan. The restaurant is expected to be open by December.
From their website: “Suki Hana/Wokaholic brings the best of the Japanese and Chinese cuisine. Their delicious teriyaki dishes are cooked fresh to order on their teppanyaki grill, right in front of their guests. They also serve light and crispy tempura and freshly-made sushi.”
The latest update we have received from Westfield Wheaton is that the Korean BBQ is expected to open in January, 2022.
The restaurant is known for its wide variety of cuts that are not found in most other Korean restaurants. According to their website, their “beef and pork are produced with only natural feeds.”
The Korean Corn Dog restaurant will be taking over the former Tevana space located in the mall’s upper level. It is scheduled to open in February of 2022.
