Louisiana Kitchen & Bayou Bar will close permanently today after over a decade in that location (4907 Cordell Ave. in Bethesda).
The restaurant, a descendant of the Louisiana Express Company, opened in 2008 under the ownership of longtime employees Carlos Arana and Jose Blanco.
A sign was posted on the door that read the following:
“Dear customers,
After more than 10 years Louisiana Kitchen & Bayou Bar’s owners are moving to their next life’s adventure. Our last day of business will be on Wednesday, March 13, 2019. Thank you for all your support, loyal patronage, and friendship.
