Montgomery County Unveils New Mustang Mach-E Police Cruisers

County Executive Marc Elrich was on hand Saturday for the unveiling of the new electric police cruisers for the Montgomery County Department of Police. The Mustang Mach-E can go 0-60 in 5.2 seconds.

This was a part of the National Drive Electric Week Event at Bassett’s restaurant during Poolesville Day 2021.

  2. Hopefully these will be used to catch motorcycle racers on the ICC and the drag racers throughout the area.

  3. The only problem with that car Ford has already warned you can’t drive it in an emergency mode as it could catch fire the electrical system will not handle any of a police electronic equipment. Pretty much rendering this useless to our police force in Montgomery County.
