Montgomery Village Update 5.27
Construction continues to move along at the site of the Montgomery Village Lidl. Located at 19241 Montgomery Village Ave. (formerly the MV Professional Center), the new grocery store is directly across the street from rival chain Aldi. They are still expected to open this year.
A large waterslide has been installed at North Creek Pool/Community Center at 20125 Arrowhead Rd. In addition to the pool getting an upgrade, pickleball and futsol courts were recently installed.
The first model townhomes have been built at the site of the old Montgomery Village Golf Course. The new development is named Bloom Montgomery Village and is advertising that townhomes will start in the “mid 400’s.”
From Montgomery Village: “Monument Realty is happy to announce that Ryan Homes has just begun construction of two model homes for the first phase of Bloom MV. The model homes will be located just off Montgomery Village Avenue, on the new Tall Oaks Road. The VIP sales launch will begin in August and the public grand opening is planned for September. The first new Bloom MV homeowners are expected to move into this new community by the end of this year. Sizes, prices and layouts are not currently available, but interested residents should e-mail DCMDTeam@ryanhomes.com to be added to an interest list.”

Big Lots has announced June 3rd as the reopening date for the Montgomery Village location.

We live in Village Overlook and would like to rent a spot to keep a kayak at the large MV lake. Any info is appreciated
