Poke Papa Montgomery Mall Permanently Closed
We just learned that Poke Papa, a Hawaiian inspired poke bowl spot, has permanently closed their Montgomery Mall location.
This location had opened relatively recently, back in September 2019.
Currently, the Poke Papa website lists their Westfield Montgomery location as “temporarily closed”– however, a DC location employee confirmed to us today that this location is not planning to re-open.

Sad! This was the only poke eatery that serves black rice, which is tastier, and healthier than either brown or white rice. I will miss this place.
