Provisions Cafe to Close in Germantown

Provisions Cafe has announced that it will be closing after three years in Germantown.

The Cafe opened in 2018 at 19520 Waters Road in Germantown and offered baked goods, breakfast, smoothies, salads, sandwiches, and more.

Per the announcement, Provisions was unable to renegotiate a new lease that would make sense for the cafe. The cafe will continue to cater and deliver baked goods.

Full announcement can be seen below, via @Provisions.cafe on Instagram.

“After an incredible three years at 19520 Waters Road, it’s time for us to say our goodbyes to this location. Unfortunately, we were unable to renegotiate our lease to terms that will continue to make sense for us. We will still be catering and delivering baked goods around town so be sure to take a look at our website and IG for updates.
We opened our doors in 2018 with the hope to broaden the food culture of our neighborhood, being community-forward always – with your help, we did just that.
To our community: From beginning to end, your encouragement never waned. You took the time to tell the ones you love about us and made us a part of your tribes. Strangers became regulars and some days felt like an episode of Cheers – thanks for that.
To our staff: when the pandemic hit, we were just hitting our stride as a new business. There was a great energy moving through the space. We are forever grateful to every one of you on that talented, loving team and especially thank the ones that were able to see the past two years through with us. You’re forever family.
‘Til we meet again!
– Chef Saran and Mama Joy”
