The paddle boats at Rio Lakefront in Gaithersburg have decided to take advantage of the nice weather and have opened for the season.
Starting today (March 18th, 2022), they’ll be open every weekend from noon to 7pm, weather permitting.
Boats go for $20-$25 per half hour and hold up to 4 people, or 5 if one is a small child.
Washingtonian Paddle Boats was open daily during the heightened Covid-19 restrictions, but has not yet made a decision about this opening beyond the weekends for this season.
Washingtonian Paddle Boats has been in business since 2001.
