Union Jack’s in Rio to Close Permanently
Union Jack’s in Rio has posted a goodbye message on Facebook letting everyone know that the Gaithersburg location will be closed as of Monday, June 1st.
Below is their message.
“With great sadness and unavoidable regret, it is time to say goodbye to our home here at the Rio Lakefront.
As of Monday, June 1st we will no longer reside at the area’s only true oasis.
We would like to also take this opportunity to thank our beautiful and loyal guests, consistent, persistent, relentless and dedicated staff, and of course the Rio entity for allowing us the ability to present Union Jack’s, and all its offerings, to Gaithersburg MD. It is they who embraced the opportunity for us to offer the very best entertainment available, from Local to National Acts, Game Watch HQ, Chamber support, Reunions, Private and Social gatherings, Fundraisers and just about every other type of Event under the sun, along with the thousands of orders of Fish & Chips, Pints of Guinness and of course, smiles on the faces of all ever present.
Thank you Gaithersburg for your immeasurable support over 6 fabulous, unforgettable years.
ALL of you will be truly missed!“
