Ssong’s Hotdogs, a popular South Korean chain, is opening what was the second announced U.S. location in the Montgomery Mall food court. We’ve been told it will open next week (but no specific date has been provided).

Lotus Grill and Bar Closes Permanently in Bethesda
The restaurant opened back in May of 2019 and offered a modern take on Indian and Indo-Chinese cuisine, even offering pizza and tacos, on Elm Street in Bethesda, but a year and a half later it has closed permanently.

The Story Behind the Madonna on the Trail Statue in Downtown Bethesda
The Madonna on the Trail statues were dedicated to the spirit of the pioneer woman of the United States during the 19th Century. Dwarfed by high rises in Bethesda, the statue stands 18 feet tall and is located at the corner of Wisconsin Avenue and Montgomery Avenue.
