9/8/21, 10:30AM Update: Adam Schefter has tweeted clarification on Tanya Snyder’s comments on his podcast, stating that a Washington Football Team spokesperson said the list of eight names were a selection of names that were highlighted in the WFT’s Making the Brand Video, and not a final list of potential name candidates.

Tanya Snyder, co-CEO of the Washington Football Team and wife of team co-owner Dan Snyder, announced the final 8 names that remain in contention as the nickname for the Washington Football Team via Adam Schefter’s podcast.

72 days after commencing his cross country, against the wind bike ride for ALS, Damascus native Will Armstrong has completed his trip. He started on June 26th from Rehoboth Beach, DE, and finished September 6th in First Beach La Push, Washington.

Washington Football Team Releases Wide Receiver Steven Sims

The Washington Football Team has released third year wide receiver Steven Sims, as reported by JP Finlay of NBC Sports.

Sims started four games over the last two seasons, serving primarily as the team’s slot receiver. Sims has caught 61 balls for 575 yards and five touchdowns in his two year career here in Washington.

Montgomery County firefighters are paying their respects to Green Valley Fire Department Battalion Chief Joshua Laird (Frederick County), who died on Wednesday, August 11, 2021, while responding to a two alarm house fire in the 9500 block of Ball Road in Ijamsville, Maryland.

The ceremonial procession transferring Frederick County Division of Fire and Rescue Services fallen firefighter, Station 25, Green Valley Fire Department Battalion Chief Joshua Laird, started at noon today and many will see Montgomery County Fire and Rescue paying their respects on highway overpasses between noon and 1pm.

MJ and his boat Catch 23’ were registered for the 2021 White Marlin Open, (August 2nd through 6th) for the third year in a row. In the past he hasn’t caught anything worth a cash prize.

For three years in a row, the arrival of Jordan’s private plane at the Salisbury airport has been something local residents look out for. CATCH 23′ is powered by MTU engines and has a max speed of 40 knots and a range of more than 500 nm. The yacht can accommodate eight guests and a crew of two. The 216 square-foot cockpit is built for deep-sea fishing. There’s a transom door, a massive freezer, a large storage space, and fish wells The boat features Jordan’s signature elephant skin print that is also on his private jet. The elephant skin print was used on the Jordan 3s sneakers.

Yesterday, Hank Dietle’s announced that it would require proof of vaccination or a negative covid test 48 hours prior to any event.

Soon after, popular DC Area live music venues, The Anthem, 9:30 Club, Merriweather Post Pavilion, and a Lincoln Theatre, released a joint message that they would also be requiring any patrons who attend live events to be vaccinated or provide proof of a negative covid test within 72 hours of a live event.
