Jonathan Iraheta of Beltsville has been charged with six traffic citations and fines totaling $1,800 after stopping traffic Sunday night on 495 to perform donuts before being pulled over on 95 near Rt. 212 for reckless driving.

According to an article released today by WalletHub, Maryland’s economy was the 9th least hit by the coronavirus pandemic.
Puttery, an adult-focused mini golf course that will have bars, DJs, and a trendy restaurant, will be taking over the space formerly occupied by The International Spy Museum at 800 F. Street in DC. The Spy Museum moved to it’s current location at 700 L’Enfant Plaza in 2019.
According to a press release, the location will feature an “upscale food and beverage menu showcasing dishes and craft cocktails specially curated by Puttery’s own chefs and craft-spirits specialists.”

The State of Maryland issued a memo yesterday which said counties must follow the state’s vaccine eligibility guidelines. The state of Maryland is currently in stage 2A. You can find a list of the different stages and who is currently eligible for the vaccine here.

The Maryland Senate voted unanimously on Friday to remove “Maryland, My Maryland” as the official state song. It had been Maryland’s official song since 1939.
