MCPS has provided detailed and updated quarantine guidelines, per today’s briefing with the Montgomery County Council.

Student Struck in Hit and Run in Front of Montgomery Village Middle School, Minor Injuries Reported
A student was struck at the intersection of Watkins Mill Rd and Centerway Rd in front of Montgomery Village Middle School on Tuesday around 3:15pm as students were leaving for the day. Police and first responders arrived a short time after and took the student to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Lacrosse Legend Paul Rabil Announces Retirement
Paul Rabil announced his retirement today from the sport of lacrosse. Rabil, widely considered the face of lacrosse, grew up in Montgomery Village and attended Watkins Mill High School for a year, crediting his only lacrosse season there for helping him fall in love with the game.

The Board of Education passed a unanimous resolution requiring that all MCPS staff be vaccinated.
Per MCPS:
Students must be vaccinated against COVID-19 to participate in winter and spring sports.
