Diego’s World, a new food truck offering a variety of Latin cuisine, is making its debut today at Sunoco in Gaithersburg (20050 Goshen Road).
The food truck will be open today and tomorrow (11/5-11/6) from 11am until 6pm each day.
Update: Cold Stone Creamery at 84 Main St in Gaithersburg has reopened.
Yesterday we let you know that the ice cream shop was temporarily closed by the Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services.
Signage was just installed on the new Starbucks located next to Firebird’s Wood Fired Grill at the Spectrum in Gaithersburg.
Last week we told you construction on the exterior/drive-thru of the new Starbucks is nearing completion.
Construction Delays and unexpected railyard access needs have delayed the construction ongoing during the Shady Grove and Rockville Station Closures, forcing the project to be extended several months longer than expected.
Originally, the closure was expected to last until early December.
Unofficial results for the November 2, 2021 municipal election for Mayor and two City of Gaithersburg Council Members have been announced.
In the race for Mayor, Jud Ashman received 3,650 votes (81.42%). Stephen Escobar received 833 votes (18.58%).
Per the Montgomery Village News:
“In a public meeting on October 26, representatives from WSSC Water relayed they will be preforming a water main replacement project along Montgomery Village Avenue that will last approximately 2 years. This is part of WSSC Water’s current mission to strategically replace and rehabilitate aging water and sewer infrastructure in the service area, enhancing service and reliability to their customers.
There was a collision and vehicle fire this afternoon on Darnestown Rd And Tschiffley Square Rd in North Potomac.
One person was transported to the hospital with priority 2 trauma.
