The Gaithersburg location (554 N. Frederick Ave) will open in the Gaithersburg Square shopping center between Chipotle and Minerva Express.

Today we’ve been able to confirm that Aldi, another German discount grocery chain, will also be opening a location in Montgomery Village. Aldi will be located in the Montgomery Village Shopping Center in the old CVS location, next to Big Lots.

According to the Montgomery Newsletter, the company has purchased the Professional Center property for almost $4 million.
It will be quite some time until any changes are made as Lidl has not submitted any plans to the county.
They’ll be taking over part of the old Last Mango, Zodiac Grill, Tony and James, 44 Sports Bar and Grill, and most recently Largent’s Restaurant and Bar location (654 Center Point Way).
The California based chain started in 2008 and has stores across the United States and in over 25 countries worldwide.
They offer over 100 flavors and recipes coupled with a wide variety of toppings.
They’ll be taking over the old O’Leary’s and 555 Lounge location at 555 Quince Orchard Road in Gaithersburg.
The restaurant is expected to open on WEDNESDAY, December 12th.
