We stopped by Mahshad Modern Persian Kitchen, a new restaurant that opened this past June in King Farm, to pick up some dinner.
The restaurant describes itself as having a “new version” of Persian cuisine and offers local, organic food for everyone.
Mahshad Modern Persian Kitchen is now open in King Farm.

Recently we reported that Farmsook Thai Kitchen took over the old Thai Farm spot in King Farm (800 King Farm Blvd, Suite 125).
This Wednesday the restaurant will be celebrating its Grand Opening with 50% off all day for customers who dine in.
The new restaurant is located at 800 King Farm Blvd, Suite 125, in the location that was previously home to Thai Farm Restaurant.
From their website:
Howard County-based Bon Fresco Sandwich Bakery opened its first MoCo location last month in Rockville!
The restaurant is be located at 540 Gaither Rd. in the Redland Corporate Center.
They’ll be located on King Farm Blvd., next to King Farm Cleaners and Tailors, caddy corner to Safeway.
We are speculating that this will be similar to concepts like Downtown Crown Wine & Beer (Gaithersburg), Brew Belly (Olney), and Knowles Station (Kensington)– A craft beer & wine spot you can hang out in, drink some beer/wine, eat some food, and enjoy time with friends.
I was told by an employee that the location will be in King Farm, but was recently informed that it’ll be adjacent to King Farm at 540 Gaither Rd. in the Redland Corporate Center.
Bon Fresco makes their own bread in-house. The ciabatta takes 30 hours, start to finish. “There’s no rushing it. Break open its crust, and you’ll see why it was all worth it” says their website.
