According to Maryland Lottery and Gaming, Maryland’s six casinos combined to generate $158,122,302 in revenue from slot machines and table games during November 2024, an increase of $403,808 (0.3%) compared to November 2023. Casino gaming contributions to the state during November 2024 totaled $68,879,589, an increase of $2,729,307 (4.2%) compared to November 2023. The November 2024 contributions included $49,682,786 to the Education Trust Fund, an increase of $1,955,224 (4.2%) compared to November 2023.

Yelp has released its “Top 50 Places to Eat in the MD Burbs”, focusing on restaurants located in the Maryland suburbs. We are going to look at the top 10 on this list that was created by “Yelp Elites”– a group of reviewers selected based on well-written reviews, high quality photos, a detailed personal profile, and a history of “playing well with others”, according to Yelp. Eight of the top ten restaurants can be found in Montgomery County.

Some games transcend the typical Friday night spectacle, and this year’s state final between the Wise Pumas and Quince Orchard Cougars is one of them. It’s not just about the trophy; it’s about legacy, evolution, and the ever-burning quest to cement greatness. One of these two teams has won every 4A state title since 2015.
