The Maryland Attorney General’s Office released the following press release on Wednesday, December 13: “Maryland Attorney General Anthony G. Brown today applauded the Maryland Board of Public Works’s approval of compensation for Grant Jones, who, in 1993, was wrongfully accused and convicted of attempted rape and unjustly imprisoned for four years. Per the Maryland Attorney General’s Office: “Maryland Attorney General Anthony G. Brown joined a coalition of 22 Attorneys General urging the U.S. Supreme Court to make it clear that states have the authority to regulate social media platforms.

$78,505,288.26 of cannabis was sold in the state of Maryland during the month of November, according to the Maryland Cannabis Administration.  These totals include both medical and recreational marijuana sales. Maryland sold $89,997,763.79 of cannabis in October. (more…)
